The story began in 2014 when Roberta moved to Shanghai to work as an Architect. She received a first-class degree with Honours from the Polytechnic of Milan.

She was involved in several small residential interior design projects in and around China. Then, leading the Operations Team, she started looking at tiny spaces in a newly oriented way.

Thanks to this training, her Italian heritage background and her studies in Architecture, Roberta took up this challenge by imagining the best solutions for micro-apartments.

MICROLIVINGDESIGN applies a philosophy based on clear principles to its projects, such as a constant search for innovation, iconic design and the emotion of great spaces.

The goal is to optimize the functionality of compact apartments on an affordable budget while enhancing the feel of a comfortable space and enabling people to live the way they want.

Before embarking on this path, Roberta worked for more than ten years in the interior architecture industry, learning to detail and manage charming design projects worldwide.

She loves architecture and interior design, and the role they play in people’s lives, and how they can be an expression of civic and personal values.

Her job is her passion. She cares deeply about her mission, her team and her customers.

She keeps getting excited about every project she works on and always thinks about the next design challenge to face.
